    How to Fix the Problem

    In Adobe Acrobat Pro:

    1. Open the Content pane.
    2. Open each Page container and ensure any real content is not nested inside artifacted content.

    Why it Matters

    Content that has been artifacted will be ignored by screen readers. Therefore, any real content must not be inappropriately nested inside artifacted content otherwise it will not be announced.

    Rule Description

    Real content must be nested appropriately within the Contents pane.
