Don't Use Color Alone to Convey Meaning

It's ok to use colors on a web site. It's even ok to use color to convey meaning, but it's not ok to use color as the only way to convey meaning. You need to use some other method in addition to color, such as writing out the text, or putting information in different columns of a table (be sure to put proper headers on the table!).
Who is Affected?
Blind people can't see color at all. People with low vision may have a hard time seeing colors. People who are color-blind may have a hard time distinguishing between certain combinations of colors, such as red and green.
