Apply a Scope Definition to an Analysis

The Scope button allows you to run an analysis on a page or a script based on previously defined Scope definitions.

Scoping provides the ability to test only certain portions of the page instead of the entire page. On many websites, there are elements or "template" areas that are consistent through all of or many of the pages on the site such as header, footer and navigation areas.

Therefore, it is quite common to find one error reported multiple times when analyzing mutliple pages, even though it is one single error within a template area. One way to avoid this is by using FireEyes' Scope Definition feature to include or exclude segments of web pages in the accessibility analysis.
